As a Housing Association, we believe that everyone deserves a safe, secure, comfortable place to call home. Not just now, in the middle of this crisis, but at all times homes have been at the heart of matters.
The National Federation of Housing (NFH), representing almost 800 housing associations, has launched a new campaign is called #HomesAtTheHeart. This is a national campaign working in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Housing, National Federation of ALMOs, Association of Retained Council Housing; as well as securing support from Carers UK and the charity Crisis.
In an open letter to Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, signed by more than 60 housing groups, and published in The Times, the Government was urged to put investment in social housing at the heart of their economic recovery plan.
